CSSA Convention 2011 Yesterday was 116 years ago when California Spiritualists formed a state association, and all that has taken place in the intervening years.

Today California’s Old West beckons! CSSA’s annual convention gathers this year in a yesterday setting to experience, learn, share, and discover what will renew and strengthen us as we look toward the future.

Tomorrow is moving forward, knowing that those who follow in our Spiritualist footsteps will continue to serve Spiritualism.

Thursday Evening

Thur
A public event, An Evening of Spirit Communication, is scheduled for Thursday evening at 7:30 pm. This informative program is planned to impart knowledge about and demonstrate spiritual mediumship to the general public. Spiritualists want to share their understandings with others. This event is being widely advertised to Grass Valley and surrounding communities. Spirit Communication has been in evidence throughout history, and CSSA’s Evening of Spirit Communication will provide opportunities to witness and learn more about its place in our lives today. Mediums Sharon Snowman and Janet Tisdale will bring spirit greetings with Medium Jim Ehrhart hosting the evening.

Business Check-in for convention business sessions commences at 8:30 am on Friday, July 22. A badge fee of $15 is due upon check-in if not paid in advance. Business sessions commence on Friday and Saturday mornings at 9 am.

Religious Services Public religious services are scheduled for Friday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 10 am. Friday’s service will include a talk and spirit greetings. Sunday’s service will include spirit greetings in an all-message service. Both services commence with spiritual healing.

A half-day event, Myths, Methods, Messages, Manifestations, An Eventful Afternoon, will be held on Saturday, from 1 to 4:30 pm

This event will be presented by Sharon Snowman, National Spiritualist Teacher, NSAC minister, medium, and healer, Lily Dale, New York. Here’s an opportunity to learn and share together, with Sharon’s guidance. This eventful afternoon will dispose of the myths surrounding mediumship; help us understand the methods by which one receives messages from spirit, and how these messages manifest through mental and physical mediumship.

Janet Tisdale, National Spiritualist Teacher, NSAC minister, medium, and healer from Phoenix, will present the premiere of the Phoenix Phenomena 2011, a photographed demonstration of extraordinary and evidential spirit manifestations during a séance earlier this year in Phoenix.
